Ups from God.
Remember when the children would beg to play Seven-Up instead of doing
USSR. (Uninterrupted Sustained Silent Reading)
I often gave into their pleas and then their little hands shot up to be
picked.

Seven Ups from God:

 Click Me!.  Wake Up- Decide to have a good day. "Today is the day the Lord hath made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it."  Psalm 118:24

Click Me!Dress Up- The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive
way to improve your looks. "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at.
Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
      Proverbs 13:3

Click Me!Shut Up- Say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth,
so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking. "The Lord
does not look at the things that man look at. Man looks at the outward appearance,
but the Lord looks at the heart." Proverbs 13:3

Click Me!. Stand Up- for what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything.
"Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest
if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good."
      Galations 6: 9-10

Click Me!Look Up-to the Lord. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
      Phillipians 4:13

Click Me!. Reach Up- for something higher. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not
unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct
     your path." Proverbs 3:5-6

Click Me!. Lift Up- your prayers. "Do not worry about anything; instead Pray About Everything."
     Phillipians 4:6

For All that You Give Us
Dear Lord,
On this Thanksgiving Day,
We are thankful
For all that You give us,
For all that You do for us,
For all that You teach us.
Thank You for guiding us
To live our lives
In Your will,
In Your purpose,
In Your plan for us.
Thank You for Your protection
From worldly influence and danger.
Thank You for bringing us gently
To a deeper knowledge of You
And what You want from us,
With Your love, mercy,
Compassion and grace.
And thank you, Lord,
For the blessings
We are experiencing right now
At this very moment--
The food,
And the precious people
Who are with us
To enjoy this meal
And this day.
Thank You, Lord. Amen.
